Bird’s® new 7020 Series, Power Sensor is an economical, plug and play solution to your power measurement needs. The 7020 determines and reports Forward and Reflected True Average Power and VSWR over a wide frequency range of 350 MHz to 4.0 GHz. It also never requires field calibration, only requires factory calibration once per year and is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The hand-held digital power meter has been completely redesigned with the new Bird® 5000-XT. Ideally suited for field techs and engineers who need to make power measurements anywhere they go, the 5000-XT's new user interface has an intuitive, menu-driven design, making it the easiest to use on the market. It's operable even with one hand and compatible with all our field and legacy sensors.
(2) DPS Series, Directional Power Sensors (DPS) are the most flexible RF sensors on the market today. With this Dual-Socket,Thruline® sensor, you may select from a wide range of Bird Elements to tailor the unit to your needs over a wide range of frequencies and power levels. Also, select field changeable input and output RF connectors from dozens of types including [N, BNC, HN, 7/16 DIN].
(4) TPS Series, Terminating Power Sensors are the easiest to use, most cost competitive terminating sensors on the market. This one port measurement device will provide True Average Power for forward power or reflected power if attached to a Directional Coupler or total power in the line if connected to a Non-Directional Coupler. The TPS is a true "plug and play solution" with no front panel calibration required at any time.
(5) Bird’s® Wideband Power Sensor Series (WPS) never requires field calibration, only requires calibration once per year and is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The WPS measures True Average Power, Peak Power, and Duty Cycle directly with exceptional accuracy and uses these precise measurements to calculate a wide range of other important factors, such as VSWR, Return Loss, Reflection Coefficient, Crest Factor, Average Burst Power, and CCDF.
Bird BPME Series, Broadcast Power Monitors accurately monitor RF power and VSWR continuously, provides the ability to set alarms for important power and VSWR thresholds and enables data logging for a wide range of frequencies and power levels.
Remote Monitor Panel for the BPME Series Broadcast Power Monitor The 3129 Broadcast Monitor Display accurately measures power in digitally modulated and multi-carrier systems and displays the BPME status. The single line display is divided into two fields and displays forward power, and either reflected power or the match measurement. An indicator in the lower right of the last digit blinks on and off to indicate communication with the BPME. It also acts as a DC power supply. The unit includes a 50 feet of cable to connect RS-232 and serial ports between 3129 and line section, and serial interface cable.
WBC Series, Wideband Couplers offer a convenient, cost
effective product for RF Power Measurement in High Power
applications. The coupler uses the
DPM Series, 5000-XT Digital Power Meter and the TPS Series, Terminating Power Sensor for accurate,
repeatable readings of both UHF and VHF, forward and reflected
power in broadcast facilities.
The Transmitter Power Monitor (TPM) is the latest broadcast solution from Bird. Calibrated coupling ports and accurate power measurement combined in the same unit passes savings of money and space on to you. Using state of the art techniques, the TPM is the first in-situ power solution that can be calibrated in-line and on site. This unprecedented characteristic helps minimize downtime and optimize on-air time. In addition, a simplified interface allows for a high level of customization and integration that any system could appreciate.
The 3140 Series Transmitter Power Monitor Meter Display Panel is used to accurately display the forward and reflected power on one TPM or up to eight separate TPM’s. One set of highly accurate meters displays the RF power readings and a user friendly front panel switch that selects among the mulitple TPM systems.
